Hello all my blog buddies...

Hello there everyone...

It has been a long time since I posted.

Last few years were the years of studies, without social life, with lots of knowledge pouring in from the Professors & of course from the sources of evidences for the current practised evidence based medicine.

For those who don't know or has forgotten 😄, I am Dr. Mohamed Ali. I finished my Basic Medical Qualification from Ukraine, and completed my specialist training in the field of Internal Medicine from Nepal.

Just 1 year back I was like this in the pic below.

With over 106Kg, well its a little overweight, don't you think?

Well it was around 1 year back. Since then, with 2 of my colleagues & with the help of my wife: we started the journey to lose fat & build muscle. During the studies it was hard, & initial days were very hard. Because once you go to studies, your diet is out of control. Lunch is usually provided at the hospital, most of the time it is a Biryani/Momo/ or some high calorie stuff.

And when you come back, your wife will think you haven't taken any good stuff at hospital, she will prepare something good/tasty/irresistable.

Well, then after a lot of hard work, with a lot of sweat & with a lot of research, I managed to look like this in 11 months. Take a look at the below pic with around 83kg of muscle & frankly I don't know the fat %.

For those who want to lose weight, or build muscle. I will share my experience & research in to this field in future blogs. And for those who are interested to know about how much weight I lost, its around 23 kg.

Hope to see you all around...

Reasons Why Your Hips Hurt

Hips Don't lie Inside the Joint Each hip is a ball-and-socket joint. The ball is the top of your thighbone (femoral head). The socket (acetabulum) is in your pelvic bone. Smooth, slippery tissue called cartilage lets the ball and socket glide against each other when you move. A thin lining (synovium) tops the cartilage and makes a bit of synovial fluid, which further eases rubbing.  Tendons, ligaments, and muscles complete the joint. Osteoarthritis It’s the “wear and tear” type of arthritis that many people get in middle age. Cartilage on the ball end of the thighbone and in the hip socket slowly breaks down and causes grinding between bones. You’ll have stiffness, and you might feel pain in your crotch and at the front of your thigh that radiates to your knee and behind. It’s often worse after a hard workout or when you don’t move for a while. Rheumatoid Arthritis With RA, your immune system attacks parts of your body, which can include the syn...
